This is definitely one of my favorite times of year. While in the summer it is wonderful for keeping cool, this time of year is a nightmare if your house is surrounded by big, tall, old tree's. Ped has been raking the yard everyday, and every morning we wake up to a backyard FULL of leaves. Julian loves it, as you can tell he's making leaf angels! Our whole yard is covered like this daily...

Cute costume/jammies Julian. My porch was covered in leaves all summer despite my sweeping efforts. Now that Autumn has hit...Grandmother Willow is releasing leaves at record pace.
I love the fall too!! But raking leaves.. not so much!!

our leaves are falling, too. the kids fight over who's going to rake. i need to get some of those pumpkin bags to stuff them in. my trick for now is to let colton keep the lawn mower on the mulch setting & go to town! no more long grass, no more leaves to rake...it's like a little fall miracle. :)
