Mommy's little helper

Yesterday I was sweeping the floor after dinner, which is a chore I busy myself with at least a handful of times daily. When I looked up from my pile, I saw Sophia pick up the dustpan, bring it over to my pile and attempt to sweep the discarded food into the dustpan.

What a little sweetheart!

Today she raided my makeup drawer and brought an eyeliner pencil over to me and touched it to my face.

Both of these instances remind me of what an influence I have over my little beauties. Even at one year old, they are already absorbing so much!

Hard to tell a story without a camera...

Are you surprised? After all our camera drama last year(lost cord, lost camera), it is only fitting that it is now broken. Someone is using her height to her advantage by pulling everything off of the table and countertops and throwing the objects to the ground.

Our camera is the most recent casualty.

So while I would love to post pictures of signing Julian up for kindergarten, or the girls in their new birthday clothes, or just general silliness, I can't.

Poor me.
