Today I will be cleaning my house. It isn't too messy, and maybe 'cleaning' isn't the word I should be using. You see, everything has a place around here. Not because I am an organizing wizard, as Carrie calls herself, in fact it is by design. You see, I have a husband who is capable of losing things on an hourly basis: wallet, cell phone, keys, etc. So out of necessity, everything has its place.
With that in mind, my new digital camera usb cord has gone missing. It has left its 'home' atop the computer desk, plugged into the keyboard. Do I blame my husband who loses everything, but rarely uses the camera? Or do I blame my 3 year old son who has a penchant for anything that has to do with computers and gadgets? I have a feeling the latter is to blame, but I'm being patient about the whole thing. Actually, I've been patient for about a week, and have looked here and there for it, but today I will search my house top to bottom for it, making sure everything really is where it belongs.
So instead of posting pictures of our fun weekend spent riding ponies and rides at Funderland, or cute twinsie pics, I will be posting my favorite picture to remind me how cute my 3 year old can be, so as to forget how annoying it is that my cord is missing.
