If you have a 2 year old

You should teach them to peel an orange. It's one of the cutest things ever.

Just don't do it in Sam's club, where you'll look down the aisle you just came from and see a trail of peels leading right to your cart.

Haha! Sounds like you were caught red handed...or orange handed in this case! Sorry, had to say it!

I'm super impressed. My 5 year old insists she can't do this!

Sam's club moment: One of those time you just turn back around and pretend like you saw nothing. Or maybe that's just me.

Amy, for a moment I thought about running back and cleaning it up, but when I realized there were probably 3 other aisles with trails of orange peel in our dust, I decided it was best to move on!

Thanks for the laugh :)

She's serious about that orange-peeling.

Must be Sam's Club. On one of our worst trips, I recall leaving one of those huge inflatable haunted houses...ugh, deflated. To put it mildly.

Well now you know that all you have to do is hand them an orange if they are going to be out of the cart in a store & you'll be able to find them. Or you could go with the tried and true balloon on the wrist....

:( I wish you would have known her like that too. She had some really shining Grandma moments. A few that stand out: She would drive with no hands and make us SWEAR to not tell our dad. And...Grandma was always really particular about her looks, but SOMETIMES, she would flip her dentures out at you. We died laughing. She made an incredible pasta dish that we called "Grandma's casserole" with croutons on top. Maybe your mom makes it. She was always willing to play Go Fish. She would always so "Oh Bob, and shake her head no when he was (constantly) teasing Aunt Margie or saying something Gram didn't approve of. And she had a beautiful singing voice. The lullabies are my favorite memory of her. She sang Tell Me Why and Me and My Teddy Bear. Those are the only 2 we remember. And I was 6 when we moved from Pittsburgh so clearly they left a big impression. She surely loved you all dearly too. Gram always talked about you guys. My mom would always ask "have you talked to Ellen?" And Gram would proudly relay the latest on all 10 of you. Sadly we lost out on a lot of time with her, her last several years, but she was a great Gram.
